Overview
Koi is the twenty two year old founder of SynOrganics, Inc., a bio-tech company dedicated to the eradication of violent crime and identification of violent criminals through biotechnology.When a SynOrganics employee is raped by a wealthy hedge fund manager and the investigation is stone walled by the University, Koi intervenes. She makes the decision to send a prototype that hasn’t been field tested — the Human Identification System — to identify and apprehend the rapist. Problems arise during the test and the engineers are frustrated by the inability to pin point the underlying cause of misidentification… until one engineer makes a startling discovery: The wealthy rapist has paid to have his DNA hacked with malware to cover up his identity and predatory crimes. Can the engineering team overcome the hack to bring the rapist to justice? Will Koi and the company overcome the fallout from a high profile failure?
